*The pay range mentioned is an estimate and is based on performance. As an HVAC Service Technician, you are compensated per job, with earnings determined by commission.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on residential air conditioning systems, including central air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, and heat pumps.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Accurately diagnose and resolve issues with air conditioning systems.
  • Routine Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure air conditioning systems are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Customer Communication: Clearly explain issues and recommended solutions to customers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, including work orders, reports, and inventory logs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry standards and advancements to provide the best service possible.

• Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven 3+ years experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a focus on residential air conditioning.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications: EPA certification and a valid HVAC technician license.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
